The molten aluminum, ready for casting in the melting furnace, is transferred to the casting machine via liquid transfer troughs made of non-stick insulated material, equipped with natural gas or electric heating systems.
The liquid metal transfer troughs are successfully used for transferring molten aluminum at high flow rates and quantities, such as 50 tons per hour.
The troughs are manufactured from 5mm thick ST37 steel, and the trough insulation is produced using globally recognized precast casting technology.
Depending on customer preferences, the troughs, which can be produced with either natural gas or electric heating, are preheated before casting for maximum efficiency.
